July News

July has been a very busy month with lots of new starters joining the workshop. Some beautiful items have been created in our classes with lots of fresh ideas for projects. We have welcomed a mum and daughter who are learning how to make wooden cottages from scrap wood – a summer holiday project for the daughter to paint and decorate them. Nabeel has been busy making more wooden cars – this time a Citreon C2V. Sarah joined us at our beginners silver jewellery workshop, which was a birthday gift, and created two fabulous rings. Adela has been busy making dichroic pendants in our Kind Fused Glass. The July challenge in our jewellery workshop was to create pieces using pearls. Our article for Sherwood life was all about our Stained Glass class on Wednesday afternoons and showed the incredible work that can be achieved. Alan made a wheel of fortune for The Two Fat Chefs – a business in Mansfield.
